The squares are finished. After laying the squares out on the floor and tweaking the arrangement over several days, I finally came to a happy sequence. Here are the four rows (6 squares deep), pinned and ready for assembly. This will involve lots of sewing with a large needle and leftover yarn. I’m using either blue or pink, depending on the squares. There are a zillion ends that need tidying, too. I’m thinking about backing the entire afghan with a deep blue flannel and finishing it with a crocheted edging. Final thought: This part of the project is easier and more pleasant when worked in the company of others.

Hi,
I work with Barbara and am so glad you got so much out of the workshop! It means so much to us to be a catalyst for positive change in women’s lives!
One little bit at a time, right? It will be lovely when it is complete! Here is to enjoying the journey.
I can’t wait to see it all sewn together! It’s looking really great. ~ hugs, Lynda xo
