Getting noticed

I’m flattered. I’m excited. This photo in my flickr pool attracted the attention of an international nanny placement service. They’ve requested permission to use it on their web site!

In the words of The Artist’s Way, photography is one of my *creative u-turns*, so I consider this an encouraging pat on the back from the great beyond, as if to say, “Keep it up!”

Still waiting for the digital camera to come back from the repair shop so I am finding other ways to play with images: importing older pics from film processing CDs, scanning printed photos, scanning slides (this is a new one — never done this before, but my scanner has a special attachment). And of course, there’s always the new *inspiration journal* for collage play.

  1. that is very, very cool. I love getting noticed, even when it’s something smaller.
