Lizard Ridge Afghan squares

The squares are finished. After laying the squares out on the floor and tweaking the arrangement over several days, I finally came to a happy sequence. Here are the four rows (6 squares deep), pinned and ready for assembly. This will involve lots of sewing with a large needle and leftover yarn. I’m using either blue or pink, depending on the squares. There are a zillion ends that need tidying, too. I’m thinking about backing the entire afghan with a deep blue flannel and finishing it with a crocheted edging. Final thought: This part of the project is easier and more pleasant when worked in the company of others.
